Pacific Precision Forging has reinvested in its production capacity. In the first phase of PPF´s forging capacity expansion, HPI and Gautschi offered a comprehensive equipment package for the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation supervision, commissioning, testing.

This original facility, Casting Line 1, included a New Generation of HPI Horizontal Casting Machines Type 3000, two Stationary Rectangular Melting Furnaces with 20t capacity and one Tilting Rectangular Casting Furnace of 23t capacity. All furnaces were equipped with the most advanced Gautschi Burner Technology with a particular Highlight the Gautschi VAREGA^ENVICOM Regenerative Burner for the 2 Melting Furnaces.

The selection and design of the plant and equipment were carefully carried out to ensure excellent operability, quality, and reliability. All requirements for cast house safety, explosion risk management, and advanced automation were considered.

Due to the great success and satisfaction with the first casting facility, PPF decided to order an identical facility, Casting Line 2. Once again, HPI and Gautschi will use their extensive expertise and proven technologies to implement the new casting line.
